Web Development - Web Developer
Job Description
We are looking for a Web Developer with graphic design expertise. If you have a solid foundation of both web development and project management skills, you are a perfect fit.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will join a team of experienced application and web developers; sharing knowledge, designing and building web products. As a Web Developer you will:
- Develop websites, manage content and review routines for improvement of numerous sites
- Communicate with developers, coordinating web front-end and back-end functionality
- Create, design and maintain aesthetic web page layouts
- Deliver numerous scenarios, mockups and proofs of concept for presentation to clients
- Support our Project Management, Sales and Quality Assurance teams
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience in Web Development and Graphic Design
- Extensive knowledge in hand-code (X)HTML, CSS, XSLT and the ability to adapt and learn any new language or application on the fly
- Ability to utilize WYSIWYG technology
- Working knowledge of Flash and Flash action script/Script languages
- Proficient in use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In-design (CS2) and DreamWeaver
- Knowledge of Javascript and SQL
- Familiar with numerous web browsers and behavior
- Experience with programming languages, CMS and web interface design
- Comfortable using MAC and PC platforms with advanced computer skills in MS Office
- Burning desire to learn new technologies and expand your expertise
- Excellent communication skills with ability to think in a consultative way
- Education: Computer Studies, Interactive Media, Mathematics or equivalent in experience
